CRAFTED FROM LUXURY CACTUS VEGAN LEATHER WITH A BLACK OBSIDIAN STONE
Each bag involves around 6 hours of handmade work
Inspired by the famous “pochette” format, this bag looks as much as a bag as a piece or an object of art. We call it "sac-bijou" because the ring that holds the pochette, like a bracelet, is made of brass embracing a sacred and powerful black obsidian.
Obsidian is a beautiful reflection of the history of Mexico. Being a natural and volcanic glass, it contains within it the elements of water, fire and earth. It is very protective and healing. Spiritually vitalizes the soul, removes blockages, and forms a shield against negativity.
This piece is a part of the exhibition "A Handmade Modernism, Artisanal Design in Mexico, 1952-2022" at the MUAC - University Museum of Contemporary Art.
Care: This product is highly organic and requires specific care. Do not expose your product directly to heat or humidity, or to sources with grease, hand cream, hand sanitizer, makeup or perfume. If your item gets wet or dirty, remove the excess water, without rubbing, with a soft, clean cloth and let it dry at room temperature. Do not use chlorine, soap, any aggressive product.
Keep your product in its fabric cover, standing and making sure that the hardware is positioned so that it cannot mark the skin.
